    I normally go to the KFC on 12 mile between John R and Dequindre but decided to head to this one since it was closer off the freeway. It's a smaller KFC with no dining area. You can either pick up your order or go to the drivethru. We went inside the store and ordered since we weren't really sure what we wanted. The place wasn't busy and the crew was very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the service, much more so than the usual hit or miss from the 12 mile location. Unfortunately, I have to give this 3 stars instead of 4 because, even though the main crew member was carefully instructing a new employee how to fill our order and pack it carefully, they forgot my son's potato wedges. Not good...but we didn't go back to correct it either, we did have so much food from the meals we did purchase. Just chalked it up to being more diligent in checking things before we leave. I will come back to this location again because the employees were much more friendly and helpful and that goes a long way in spending my hard earned dollars--KFC is NOT cheap.

    8/2014 : What was I thinking? I gave them ANOTHER chance. Guess what? STILL RUNNING OUT OF CHICKEN! I swear, a troop of baboons on Red Bull could run this place more competently that the idiots here. --- Tried here again. Out of white meat chicken, and told they won't be making any more at 8pm. This KFC is a complete joke. I like KFC but this is the worst of the worst. Slow, inept & sometimes rude. HOW THE HECK DOES A KFC RUN OUT OF CHICKEN ON SUCH A REGULAR BASIS? I'll tell you how. SHEER INCOMPETANCE! If you really want some GREAT chicken, do yourself a favor. Drive to the other side of Campbell, and you will see, just a few blocks away a place called CHICKEN SHACK. They have great chicken, and know how to treat customers. It should be noted that I have tried this location (as it is the one by my house) many times. I have had previous reviews of this place and each time they got worse and worse as this location has gotten worse and worse. Also be aware that I still like KFC very much and the problems I have had here are only at THIS SPECIFIC location. The other local KFCs I have been to have been just fine. It's important to disclose this so you understand I'm not some guy with a vendetta against the chain. I like KFC and KNOW they are capable of so much more than this disaster of a location and that makes me mad.

    This place is the worst! The employees are brain dead. Our office is right around the corner and we will NEVER be back. EVERY order was wrong, over charged, missing items, you name it. I don't know how long the food was sitting under the heat lamp but they should try cooking the food more than once a day. If you try to talk to that manager all you will get is the ,blank, I don't care or I don't understand stare. Avoid at all costs!!

    This is by FAR the worst KFC in the immediate area of Royal Oak, Madison Hts, and Troy. The staff is always rude, obvi they hate their jobs, but at least they HAVE jobs and could be a little nicer. The food is generally the same, but it's the fact they always forget something or screw up orders. Today I ordered the $5 dip-ems combo, 3 strips, 2 different sauces, wedges, and a biscuit. After waiting over 10 minutes, There was NO sauce and the biscuit could very well have been from last night by the way it tasted. Chicken strips with no sauce are pretty bland and just salty. I mean DUH.. they're advertising about DIPPING... Sure would have helped to have something to DIP in!!!!! I blame myself at this point. It seems I will never learn that fast food just SUCKS in general. /Forgetful!!!

    I would give zero stars if I could. Picked up a meal to take to my shop and found out there was no fork, no knife, no spoon, and no ketchup. Called the restaurant to see what they could do to remedy the situation and be best the manager could come up with was, "you could drive back here and we will give you some knives and forks." Yeah, that's really going to help since my food is already lukewarm from being on the phone with you while you come up with that ingenious customer satisfaction plan. I'm not above eating with my fingers, especially fried chicken, but the gravy, potatoes, and cole slaw are going to be fun. Should I just pick them up like a bowl of ice cream? When I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager, which surprised be because of his DGAF attitude, so I asked for the Dostrict Manager's name, which he gave me, but claimed he doesn't know her number. Seriously? What store manager doesn't know his DM's telephone number? I didn't buy it, and told him that I would be contacting her through corporate. The only good thing I can say about him is he asked me to please go ahead and do that, so maybe when he figured out that I'm not playing with him, he realized that he needs to pretend as if he cares. I hope this wordy review saves some of you from having a bad experience like we just had.

    What happened to this place? I remember earlier in the year there was a 'fight' among employees that brought out a dozen cops.. I knew thugs from Detroit worked here, but really? The food you want is rarely ever ready.. Why do they seem to not understand that 'dinner' is busy, and they need to drop more food? One time they told me they were out of 'Cole Slaw'.. KFC out of COLE SLAW? Then the guy said "Well they need to scoop it in the back, and everyone is too busy.".. I told him I would wait, and they can go scoop it. Why do the people that work here always seem to act like their job is a 'chore' and helping customers is a hassle? I am beginning to think it's best to simply avoid low end restaurants with bused in staff, to be honest. Edit: Tried this place again - mistake. Went there at 5PM and was told they were 'out of chicken', and it would be 10 minutes. I left, came back in an hour, and was told they were 'out' of chicken, and it would be a half hour.. What the hell is wrong with this place?

    It's your standard neighborhood KFC. Not really a place to sit down and eat. Just run in and grab food or go through the drive through. No, I'm not a walking stereotype. I don't go here for the fried chicken. I got to Popeyes for that. KFC is the only fast food establishment that has grilled chicken, a great source of protien for those that are health and diet conscious. enjoy.
